Happy Monday, ELIfe! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving break.
I came across this YouTube channel, History for Music Lovers, which offers a creative way to make history fun by presenting topics as videos set to popular songs. For example, you can learn about the French Revolution through Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance", memorize the names of the early dynasties of China through a song parody of Madonna's "Vogue," or understand the context of the Canterbury Tales via "California Dreamin'" Many of the topics may have little use for what you're studying now, but what do you think of this is method of learning through pop culture and technology? Is this an effective learning/study tool or do you prefer to keep it old school?
