Your personal study space

Do you have an effective place for study? For some students a quiet and comfortable study space exists in their home. For others, a place outside the home – at a coffee shop or library is better. For students who travel often an ideal study space is not always available, and they study on the go in the best environment available.

Whether you study from home or on the go, you can make the most out of any space by following certain guidelines. An article from Virginia Tech’s Cook Counseling Center shares ten tips to help you control your study environment. The Center also offers a Study Environment Analysis which allows you to evaluate three study spaces to help you decide which is the best environment for you.
