The
festival will run from Wednesday, June 27 - Sunday, July 1 as well as
Wednesday, July 4 – Sunday, July 8. The event will
take place outdoors on the National Mall between 7th and 14th
streets. This year’s festival will
feature, “Campus and Community: Public and Land-grant Universities and the USDA
at 150,” “Citified: Arts and Creativity East of the Anacostia River” and
“Creativity and Crisis: Unfolding the AIDS Memorial Quilt.” Concerts, dance parties and special events
will highlight the festival.
The hours are
11am-5:30pm. Visitors with disabilities needing
assistance should visit the Information booths located around the festival
site. The Festival welcomes all service animals.
