Weekend Activities: Memories of WWII
Relive history at the Sully Plantation this Saturday, July
14, 2012, as you step back into the WWII era with the Allied and Axis
Re-enactors. Gain an understanding of
what life was like as the re-enactors take you into the lives of soldiers and
civilians during WWII. Chat with the
re-enactors about jobs, living quarters and more. This is an excellent opportunity to preserve the
memories of our Country and gain an appreciation of the men and woman that
served and fought for our freedoms.
The event will be held at Sully Historic Site, Saturday, July 14,
10am to 4pm and Sunday, July 15, 10am-3pm. A tour of the home is
included. Veterans and active duty military are admitted free of charge. The
cost is $8 per adult, $6 per senior and child. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4
p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
