ELI would like to extend a special thank you to all present and past service members for their sacrifice and dedication.
If you are a veteran deciding to return to school after you have
separated from the service or are an active duty service member interested in
taking classes, there is an abundance of information available as well as
resources to assist you.
- Veterans can contact the Department of Veterans Affairs to determine if they are eligible for GI Bill benefits.
- Eligible active duty Army, Air Force, Marines and Navy, Coast Guard and National Guard service members have access to tuition assistance that can be used to pay for college courses. Contact your local education office for more information on how to access your benefits.
- If you are a service member located in the Northern Virginia area, click on the following links for information about the NOVA resources and services existing at your installation.
- Resources are also available to support family members. The MyCAA program provides eligible military spouses with tuition assistance and Tutors.com provides free tutoring services for eligible family members covering curriculum from grades K-12 through introductory college level courses.
ELI is honored to have the privilege of serving those who serve. Please allow us to continue to serve you by letting us know what questions you have. Please feel free to contact elisuccess@nvcc.edu. We would love to share information with you about all of the resources and services available to support ELI students. We are here to help you achieve your personal and academic goals and look forward to hearing from you soon.
