Here's a quote I like from Hellen Keller:
"Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence."
Hellen Keller was the first deaf and blind person to earn a Bachelor's degree--and this at a time when our society made a lot of incorrect and limiting assumptions about what a deaf or blind person, much less one who was deaf AND blind, could do. If she could keep a hopeful attitude and use it to keep moving forward toward her educational goals, I think we all can!
