Check your Blackboard courses on your iPhone

Did you know Blackboard has put out an iPhone app? You can use it on your iPhone or iPod Touch to check into your courses and see if there are new announcements, see if your professor has graded your work or left you comments, read recent posts on the discussion forum, and more. The app is free, so why not download it and see if it's useful?

Here's a quick YouTube video that introduces the app and shows you what it can do.

Is anyone using this app now? What do you think? Is it user-friendly? Does it help you keep up with your classes?

  3. I had no luck with the program. It took me awhile to locate the proper NVCC blackbloard url, then after I entered my login and password so that it could sync, I kept getting "internal errors" on the software.

  4. Thanks for the review, Marcus. Perhaps the app will improve with time.

  5. It is strange, Marcus--some folks on staff have had no problem getting it to work, while others of us (myself included) just get endless loading messages or errors. Not sure what the problem is! But I do know it works great for some people--so the rest of you should try it if you do have an iPhone. You could be one of the lucky ones! :)
