ELI Orientation Webinars Start Tuesday

Are you new to ELI and wondering how to get started in your course? Then register today for an ELI Orientation webinar. In these one-hour sessions you'll learn about ELI policies and procedures, see an example of an ELI course, get tips for using the new Blackboard 9, and find out about ELI's student support services. You’ll even have a chance to ask questions and get answers from an ELI Counselor and Instructional Designer in real time.

What’s a webinar? A webinar is a live, web-based event--a seminar via the world wide web. Just like face-to-face seminars, webinars are scheduled for a specified date and time and space is limited. Unlike seminars, you can attend webinars from anywhere in the world using your internet connection (preferably high-speed). You'll be able to see the live presentation (typically via PowerPoint slides, screen shots, and screen casts) listen using your computer speakers or headphones, and interact via text chat or microphone.

ELI webinars are free but you do need to register in advance. Check the full schedule and sign up for a session that's convenient for you. We hope to meet you there!
