If you live in the Northern Virginia area, discover the
wealth of information dedicated to your health at the Woodbridge Campus, Hustle
to Health Expo, Sunday, October 7, 2012, 8am-12pm.
Put on your running shoes and start the day with a 5K run or
walk. Registration check-in begins at
7am in the parking lot of the Sentara
Northern Virginia Medical Center. The
run/walk will begin at 8am. Participants
will walk from the Medical Center to the Woodbridge Campus. Once participants arrive at the Woodbridge Campus, they will be able to enjoy the Health and Wellness Expo with fitness demonstrations to include yoga and martial arts. There will also be plenty of entertainment including area food vendors, local bands and more!
To participate in the run, registration is required and can
be completed online. Participants will receive a free t-shirt! If you prefer a shorter walk, you can
register for the one mile family run/walk.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn some health tips, get out, get fit, and have fun!
All proceeds will be donated to the NVCC Educational
Foundation to provide scholarships to deserving NOVA
students.
