What’s happening this weekend?



Looking for something to do this weekend? Have you heard of the “Things to do in DC” blog? Each weekend, this blog highlights some fun and creative events that are happening in the Metro DC area. Here are some of the highlights for this weekend, January 24-26th:
Friday, January 24:  Sugarloaf Craft Festival (Chantilly, VA) - Over 250 new and emerging artists in the area will be displaying/selling their creations including jewelry, glassware, pottery, sculpture, as well as home decor and furnishings.  
Saturday, January 25: TAPAS: Spanish Design for Food (16th St. Washington, DC) - Held at the former residence of the former ambassador of Spain, this event celebrates the evolution of Spanish cuisine over the past 25 years. This event is free to the public but RSVP is required. 
Sunday, January 26: Chocolate Festival (McLean, VA) - Visit the McLean Community Center to participate in some chocolate tasting! Admission is $2 per person and free for children under 6 years. 25% of the profits go to support local businesses.
