Registration and Enrollment FAQs (Part II)

Here are more answers to commonly asked questions about ELI registration and enrollment:

What are my enrollment dates? How long do I have to drop with refund or to change courses?
A link to the critical enrollment dates for ELI courses is available on the distance learning home page at http://eli.nvcc.edu/ under Announcements. Please note that after the refund deadline, you will not be able to swap courses without paying additional tuition.

If I drop a course by the refund deadline, how will I receive a refund?
A refund to your credit card will be made if you paid on NOVAConnect Web. All refund for payments not made on the Web are processed by the Virginia State Treasurer’s Office after the published add/drop period and should be received by mail within a few weeks of that date. For a short period of time (usually until the Saturday following the drop), you will have a credit in your account to use for another course.
