Weekend Fun: A Summer Pops Concert

Have fun this weekend and support your College!  Take a break and enjoy the NOVA-Annandale Symphony Orchestra, as they perform “A Summer Pops Concert” on Sunday, July 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the Ernst Center Theater on the Annandale Campus.

A highlight of the concert will be George Gershwin’s exhilarating “Rhapsody in Blue,” played by conductor Christopher Johnston. Also on the program will be Gershwin’s “An American in Paris,” ragtime music, and themes from movies and video games.

Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for seniors, teens and NOVA students. Children are free. Tickets will be available at the door. For reservations, contact Joseph Pincus at 703-569-0973 or joseph@pincus.org.

The NOVA-Annandale Symphony Orchestra is composed of students and community members and sponsored by The Reunion Music Society Inc. and the Annandale Liberal Arts Division.
